I did a search on chrome removal and didn't find anything If you don't mind real quick, How do you get the trim off around the door? and what is the best way to fill in holes< because I am not going to put the chrome piece back under the door I ave kicked it off too many times. What size aircompressor do I need to run a DA sander w/out the air compressor bogging down? Thanks in advance

A bottle cap remover is the recommended tool for removing the door surround chrome. Put tape over the end to protect the metal.
The BEST way to fill holes is welding. Some have suggested using JB weld if you can back the hole with something like a penny.
You will need to have a compressor that runs off 220 V to have enough air for consistently running a DA sander. If you go to the home improvement store and check out the cheap compressors they say you can run a sander, but if you check carefully, they rate it for a 1/4 cycle time, i.e. 15 sec per minute.
