How do you adjust the clutch total travel and free travel on a 65 mustang 4-speed?

Total travel is not adjustable; controlled by the throw of the z-bar, bell crank, or equilizer bar (all different names for the same thing). Free play is adjusted by the threaded rod at the top of the Z-bar for 65's; it's at the bottom for 66's. Look at the firewall where the clutch pedal rod comes through, and you'll see a threaded rod with a locknut/jamnut on it. Unlock the nut, and rotate the threaded rod, and lock down the nut again.
