I am converting my 67 coupe to a 5 speed and since the car was originaly a automatic I need a clutch pedal assembly. I have found one from a 65 mustang will that work or do I have to find one from a 67 or 68 mustang. Also since I will be putting aftermarket disc brakes in the car do I need to get a clutch pedal assembly from a car that was originaly a disc brake car? thanks

We just did a friend of mines with non power brakes using 66 clutch and brake pedals in the 67 suppoer. It seems to work fine, but there is probably something wrong that we amateurs don't know about.

The 67/68 is shaped differently, and fits in the carrier differently. I will check if I have an extra 67/68 laying around, and could swap. Using aftermarket disk brakes, pedal does not have to be the special disk brake pedal.
