I have a 331 with a t-5 in a 65 fastback. I am using the latemodel bellhousing with the old style z-bar setup. Please let me know which clutch you guys are using thanks...

I have the "Kevlar/Kevlar 10.5"
for T5, 3550 TKO-500 with 10 spline input shaft, disc, diaphragm, heavy duty pressure plate"

http://www.moderndriveline.com/catalog/clutches.htm

scroll down a bit.

It is nice on the leg, not to stiff. I had a friend with a 92 5.0 with an rediculously stiff clutch, no fun to drive.

I've got about 40K on my Centerforce "dual friction", no problems/complaints. 10.5" diaphragm type, in early bellhousing/z bar /toploader setup, about 270 HP.

Very happy with McLeod as well.
I use their dual friction disc and diaphram pressure plate.
Happily takes the torque of my 347 :joker:

Same here ... McCleod dual friction Kevlar clutch and pressure plate. I've only gotten on it once, though ... then I was reading how it needs about 500 miles of stop and go city traffic to propperly seat. So now I'm taking it easy on it for the next 350 miles. Of course, then it'll be time to take it to the dyno.
