My 64 convert needs a new clutch/PP, as the current one has the usual burn spots and has been in for some time. I usually drive 20K-25K miles per year, all Pony Drive trips and a lot of the daily driving. 289 is slightly warmed over, but nothing close to radical. Trans is Granada OD and rear is 3.25.
Does anyone recommend a specific clutch/pp and a source that's reasonable??
Thanks!

I have Luk clutch kits in all five of my manual tranny cars, and they are awesome. You can get them at Autozone and Pep Boys.

Don't trust the reman stuff. All too often the springs are worn out and they will chatter.

Centerforce I is a nice clutch with a light pedal pressure.

Have your flywheel turned and see if the thickness is within spec. Also for cracks. If either one is present get rid of it.
