Color fender bolts ?

What should be the correct color for the fender bolts (stamped SEMS) on a 66 : cast iron or light grey? I see both colors on concours restored Mustangs.

They were originally phospate and oil. Can be reproduced in a number of ways. Ratttle can light grey or cast blast will not be even close

Always remember that even winning "restored" Mustangs have mistakes
