Currently trying to do a concours restoration on a 64 1/2 Praire Bronze Hipo Coupe. Does anybody know of this to be correct for the interior paint color

Dash, the duct vent and winsheld trim molding --- Med Palomino

Doors, Steering Column and rear windows filler panels --- Light Palomino

thanks

hi,

66emberglow has a 64.5 convertible with that color combo, I believe it is unrestored also. From what you describe it sounds right but take a look at some of emberglow's (Mark's) pics if he has some.

Hello,

All the exposed painted metal in the interior of my 64.5 coupe was the same color. I believe it to be medium palomino. The exterior was prairie bronze also. I'm not sure about the soft trim as those items were replaced. The dash pad was original and closely matched the paint.

Hope this helps.

I also think all the metal surfaces are the same color, either light or medium, but not both. Also, and I'm not sure of this, but didn't light palomino not come out until later? So, all of your surfaces should be medium?

At least when my car was resto'ed, all the surfaces were and are the same color.
