I just bought a nice 68 console. The only real problem is that one of the screw mounting holes is broken (doesn't have the flat base that the screw head would seat against). How would I fix this? Could I fiberglass a washer or something to this area (on the underneath/backside of the console)? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I don't think fiberglass will stick to the plastic. You might ask around and try to find someone that has a plastic welder. That would work. Northeran Hydralics has one the there cat. for $149. I been hashing it around about buying one.

Just a thought, but if you could find a plastic washer, you could use that PVC pipe glue to attach that to the underside plastic of the console. That stuff really holds, used it to seal a stress crack in the plastic on my console. Careful, it essentially melts the plastic together.
