Firstly thank you 289 Fan for your recent tips. Purchased a full length console recently, I understand I need wiring unit from dash to console, but can someone tell me what wires go to what wires in the dash or can I read this somewhere. In addition I wanted to purchase a rally pac any feelings of original versus repo. Thanks

For the console wiring on a 65 or 66, the black-blue wire (the rear courtesy light) goes to a black-blue connector underdash. Same for the green-yellow wire (Stowage compartment light). Regarding the rally pac, the only ones available as reproduction are the low profile units and the quality of those are reportedly horrible. Mexican made units that are non-servicable. Look here or on ebay for a good used original unit.

Dallas Mustang used to reproduce the low profile rally pac, but I've heard a lot of people complain about the quality. I heard, on this forum, that Scott Drake bought the tooling and will start reproducing the rally pac. Let's keep our fingers crossed.
