Thanks for the feedback… However, we can sail a boat with flex seal J there has tobe a product nowadays that can support this minor repair. I have to keep digging!

I've heard of folks laying the window flat and carefully laying in a bead of silicon. Not sure how long it lasts, but the silicon these days are better than back in the day.

IIRC it was laid on a sheet of wax paper so as not to stick. I opted for the plastic window.

Robbins Auto Top in Oxnard, California has the patent on the flex hinge. Perhaps they have some suggestions on how best to deal with it.
