I've struggled with finding a matching top boot for my 67 convertible. Last one didn't match because it was a different manufacturer (distinctive vs TMI). Then the with the correct company (TMI) , two new boots both had one snap that was 2-3 inches off. Finally found the right one but it's really tight and I can't seem to stretch it enough to get the snaps on by the armrest.
I tried laying out in the sun and that helped a little. I'm tempted to try a heat gun, but don't want to damage the material.
Old one fit perfect but wore out. Is there a way to adjust how deep the top goes into the well? Maybe that might help. Unless anyone has ideas. I even considered trying to find the correct material and have a trim shop make a new one.
