been tossing the idea around of converting a coupe to a convertible, looking at a 66 or a 70. i know in doing so the car has to be re-enforced but i am not sure where or what has to be re-enforced. anyone ever done this before that can tell me what i need to do

look forward to responses

You can probably do it for less than twice the $ you'd spend on restoring a vert! LOL!

Yes, I bet cheaper to sell, and then buy a nice convert for the difference. Better yet, it coulb be cheaper to have both. If this is a custom car, and you want a project, it is doable.

For a 2 seater (roadster) I would advise starting with a true vert and shortening it.

I've seen it done right, and that costs more than just buying a convertible.
