Canted valve is correct, there is a plug (square) on the driver's side of the block...in the back under the exhaust... you can take this out or you can just remove the radiator hose...your choice. There is a plug on both sides of the block on all three of my Clevelands. Pulling the lower hose will not get out all the coolant, but will remove most. If you pull the lower hose and the block plugs there will be little to no coolant left in the engine / block.
So it turns out that 10W30 dead dinos is hard to come by locally where I now am, they only have 15W40. They have a good stock of synthetic. So I got 5W30 synth.
But then I was reading about mixing the 2 for cost reasons and I got to thinking I could mix synthetic 5W30 with 15W40 dead dinos. Or...
Redoing my original 289. I'm .040 over with flat top pistons. I had the heads shaved to 50 cc. What am I looking at for compression ratio? How do you figure out my comp ratio. I'm thinking 10.1. Am I close?

I know this has been already discussed but whats the conclusion with 17x8 wheels in front of a 65-66?
My plan is to go with a square setup of 235-45-17 tires, wheels would be torq thrust M 17x8...

This radiator was leaking again not too long after I spent $100 having it repaired at the bottom tank hose connection. The radiator shop wanted...
