YES I agree. However understanding how it works, for example the C7, "7" being the first year of that design. IF no major change happens the "7" carries forward.
That said I'd think in this case it could be a C9 but not sure how good my book is. It shows many C8 numbers for automatics but only couple C7 #'s for manual.
