All aluminum floor jack. Arcan's 3 ton steel version had good reviews and I own 1 of them. I was at Costco this weekend and noticed that they had a new jack on the floor. It was their all aluminum model. While their all aluminum model has not had any reviews as of yet. It is fairly cheap at 139 - Northern Tool sells the 2 ton version for 210 with shipping. I was planning on buying one so I'll let you all know how it handles after.

Just used it. What was I thinking when using a steel jack. This weighs considerably less. Height from a little over 3" to > 19". Very happy thus far.

Two items which is a change from steel unit is: comes with a rubber foam like tube around the handle so not to accidently/damage your car and comes with a nipple hard rubber pad at the base so not to slip off your car.
