To do it yourself will cost about $100 for the two patch panels, plus some more for sealer, paints, and a windshield gasket. However, there is the air compressor, air tools, mig welder, right angle grinder, and other less-expensive tools necessary to perform the operation. Of course, you can use the tools for future repairs and projects. Faced with the same situation, I did it myself and am happy with the result.
