I have a 66 Ranch Wagon,,,(LARGE Galaxie or LTD,,,LOL) What i need to know is,,,will a disk rear end from,,,,say,,,,a 78,LTD Police car,,,and YES,,,they had them,,fit the deminsions of this wagon?? My wagon has coil springs in rear,,like the LTD's ,,a panhard rod,but i'm not sure if the width is the same. Any of you folks out there done this swap before?????Any feedback will be muchly appreciated. Thanks

my 66 galaxie is sporting the rear discs from a 74 torino(full size) wagon right now but I didn't swap the whole housing(it had had the brackets cut off) I just used the brakes. everything fits very nicely. I did have to redrill the rotors to the earlier small pattern. to fit my axles.
