I noticed last weekend I had a small oil leak behind the intack manifold. It seems to slowly dip into a recessed area of the back of the block. I found the area with a mirror where the leak is...seems like a little of the rubber gasket squeezed out bewteen the manifold and block. I tried some Permatex, let it dry for a week, but tonite the stuff got soft and ozzed oil again.

Man.... I HATE LEAKS....

Should I clean out that permatex stuff and use an RTV sealent?

Seems like once they start to leak you can never stop them.Best bet is to pull the intake and reseal it the right way.

Before you put RTV on clean the surfaces with laquer thinner or it won't stick and you'll be doing it again.
