I'm trying to change the tires on freinds truck and can't get the last one off! I've already broke three of the five studs so I'm going to have to pull the axel out anyway, how could this have been prevented. I tryed WD-40 and heat from a torch but they kept snapping off.

Did you let the lug nuts marinade in the WD over night. Sometimes that's helpful.
Were you using a cheater bar?

They soaked over night and there was no cheater bar used, although I was tempted!

An old-timer I know says to soak em down with coca-cola.
Claims it works on exhaust header bolts as well. I've never tried it myself but what the heck.
Anybody else ever heard of this remedy?

Yup. Take a glass of coke, and drop a nail in it. Within a day, the nail will be gone. Coke is a great lubricant and dissolver of rust. I'd still try PBBlaster, though...
