Has anyone installed the blue dash light diffusers recently offered by NPD? I ordered a set this week (backordered darn it!). I'm interested in how they install (do you use a soldering iron or something to melt the posts?) and if they make any difference. My current diffusers are moderately burnt.
Thanks.

Some people simply add two more lights. Some also remove the cardboard tubes surrounding the bulbs to allow more light to pass or it might have been the colored celephane. IIRC

I broke all mine out so I could see the blame gauges!

I recall a recent post about the additional use of "Glow-Wirez" to help illumination. They wrapped a couple of loops around th egauges and used hot-melt glue to keep it all in place.

I too have some of those diffusers on backorder at NPD but not sure how long it will take.

They look like the factory diffusers in my 67. Those have one mounting post and one screw hole and are attached with a small screw on the inside back of the metal bezel. No melting required.
