I thought I found a good deal a couple of months ago when I bought an 85 GT with 80K miles on the body, zero miles on a new FRPP B50 shortblock, TFS Twisted Wedge heads, Crane roller rockers, Edelbrock intake, Holley 650 DP, new radiator & clutch, Flowmasters, and an off-road pipe for about the price of the shortblock and heads - but check this out: 70 convertible, FRESH 410 stroker, steel crank, Eagle rods, JE pistons, roller cam, roller rockers, MSD 6AL & billet distributor, Victor Jr., AED Holley 935 cfm carb, 8" converter, reverse manual C4, B&M shifter, Autometer tach & gauges, new radiator, Weld Rodlites, f/g cowl hood, roll bar, racing seats, PLUS brand new (still wrapped) f&r bumpers AND a bunch of stock parts (but it does need paint & some interior work)...
all for the price of the GT!!!
Now, what do I do with BOTH of these??? I'm thinking the 5.0 would make a good street motor for the convertible, then sell the GT, but the lure of the big Windsor is sooo tempting...
