just wondering if there is a point deduction for having a non-carlite windshield. i know the date codes are not checked but dont know if judges look for the Carlite logo ?

Windshield,Door Glass, Vent, Quarter and Rear Windows: Must be CARLITE glass.
1) Not as above. 4 Points Deducted

Would say that it is a 1-2 point deduction given the current rules - if applied correctly ;)

Yes, we do look for the Carlite logo on all the windows. If the windshield isn't Carlite, and the others are, I only deduct 1 point. Rarely have I seen any of the other windows not be Carlite, but it has happened. So, generally 1 point deduction per window for wrong glass.

The SAAC judges deduct if the Carlite logo isn't the old 60's one.

MCA would deduct if the Carlite logo isn't the old style in the Thoroughbred class.

Otherwise, block or script is allowed in Concours.

Speaking of Carlite glass, can someone refresh my memory and tell me where to get CORRECT DATE CODED glass for a 1970 Mustang? I thought someone was making new windshields you could order.....
