Just started on my rear seat recover and upon removing the new foam from the box, it appears like TMI glued the protective backing to the front of the foam.

Backside of the foam:

I did buy burlap before I realized the TMI foams had this backing, so I'm guessing it would be OK to install using burlap and have this protective surface against the new cover?

Hello Scott - I saw your other thread of the finished install before I saw this post here.

It's hard to tell from the pictures, but are you saying the enforced backing on our foam was put on the TOP of the foam and not on the BACK as it properly should be?
Using burlap on the back will definitely cure this issue and shouldn't give you a problem. Sorry if this mishap gave you any issues on the installation! Which of our Dealers did you purchase the foams from?
