NPD sells a chrome kit for a '65/'66 fold down seats and it says "can be adapted to '67/'68 by cutting one notch out". Is there a difference between the '67/'68 fold down and the '69/'70 one? I know all the side panels are different, but kind of think that there's really no difference in either the trap door, the false floor, or the 2 panels that make the seat back. Is this true? If so, it seems that chrome kit would also work for a '69/'70.

The 67-68 and 69-70 fold down rear seats are virtually identical other than the vinyl material. They are interchangable with each other. I had a 68 fastback years ago with high back seats and fold down from a 69 Mach 1 and they fit perfectly. I don't know about the trap door though, there may be differences in those. I hope this helps! ::
