I just converted my ’65 front drums to SSB disc’s (non-power). They look and work pretty nice. Question for others that have made this conversion, I used the existing M/C pushrod as called out. However, the pedal now sits lower (I like the height) but the return bumper no longer rests on the pedal support causing the pedal to “rattle” slightly. The bumper appears to be fixed to pedal arm. Has anyone else experienced this?

Call NPD and see what they say. I have a 65 too and want to do the same thing to mine. Their kit is suppose to have everything needed to do the job. They might know why you pedal is rattling.

There are adjustable brake pushrods available. This would put the pedal back to its design height. Also, '67 pushrods are longer, you might measure one and see if its a good fit.
