The easiest way is to call jegs or summit and get the ford motorsport late model style distributor cap/rotor kit.

It has the distributor cap adapter ford started using in 75....ford distributors stayed the same diameter, they just put an adapter on.

So the kit has the "lower distributor cap" upper distributor cap (with male termials), and rotor.

It also because of it's larger cap diameter reduces the chances of crossfire....all in all a good deal for 30 bucks!!

I like these wires so I spoke to Summit. I was told they don't make a set for our old caps, only the post style caps. I suppose you'd have to change caps to get them to work...

I just called my local TRUSTED parts place. They said I can change the distributor cap to the newer style by buying a new cap, rotor (they said I should bring mine in so they could match it up, atleast how it attaches to the shaft anyway), and the cap adapter, just like sharkmouth said.

This should be cool, and it might even run better too!
