Back to my impending new wheel purchase. I had already decided that i was going to move from 14x6 Cragar SS up to 15x7. However, today i stopped at a local garage, and looked across at my car.

Damn, was that the most perfect thing you ever seen! It's only when you see something a different location that you realize just how good it looks. The wheels looked perfect (good side pointed towards me, rusted ones on the other side).

So now i have to decide whether or not to 'risk' moving up to 15x7 and potentially ruining that perfect look.

On one hand, i would save money by staying with 14x6 as i can keep my current tires, but maybe it WOULD look even better with 15"s

Oh, decisions decisions....

If it were me, I'd go with the 15's if they are within reach price-wise. It will REALLY look good. The taller wheel will take up more wheel well and allow you to run a slightly lower profile tire for better performance. If you are looking for a tough performance look, an upgrade in wheel size will look much better IMHO.

My 70 had 14 inch Mag500's on it, and I thought they looked great from the front/front side, but when I would look at it from far away, from the sides, they just looked tiny.

It make sense, it's not exactly a small car, so it dwarfs the 14" wheels. That's why I opted for 17's and took care of that /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

Go with the 15's you won't be disappointed.

I like the look of bigger wheels a lot, so I'd have to agree with everyone else on the 15s. I'm only running puny 14s myself, and am planning on moving up at some point.

That makes a lot of sense. 15" it is!

I guess it was just pre-order nerves setting in /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

Thanks guys,
