A couple weeks ago, I had posted that I have access to a pair of GT40 heads at no cost to me. I have put in for a pair of Y303's and am now wondering how they will effect my choices in headers. I intend to put them on the 68 289/302 in my 65.

GT40 heads and Tri-Y's work fine together - that's what I'm running (alum Y303's).

The GT40P is the only "GT40" head that causes header problems, due to the unique spark plug angle... The regular GT40 irons, as well as the aluminum Y303 and X303's work fine. I haven't seen a set of the new Z303's yet...

It's the GT-40P heads you have to watch out for. They require special headers.
