So everyone is familiar with the Hertz GT350’s, but I don’t see or hear much about the 1969 Hertz Mach 1’s.

Does anyone own one of the Hertz Mach 1’s and does anyone know how many were Hertz rentals?

Good question !! I've never seen one in a magazine article. I had an '82 Mercury Cougar many years ago & found original paperwork in the glove box stating Hertz originally owned it. Kinda neat but no big deal due to the two door Cougars of that vintage being boxy & non-sexy !!

Other than the GT350H which was specifically designated to be a Hertz car others were just cars that happened to be sold to Hertz. It's not like they were John Voight's LaBaron. (Yes, unlike George, I know it's Jon)
