Thanks yes that was my concern, a normal grease could collect all the dirt, so thanks for the recomandation.

I am wondering whether these parts need frequent lubrication, I have just rebuild my hinges and I had to play with the small turnbuckle on my 67 Mustang Ringbrother hood hinge, but I just realized that these parts are dry do you think these parts need a little bit lubrication ? if so what type can you please help me on this subject.
