I welded in my passengers side cowl tonight, and was working on doing the firewall patch, when it looks to me that the patch upper lip fit is off. I don't want to weld something that is incorrect in the car.

Here is the side cowl.

Here is the passengers side which looks to me at least like the lip is to high. Now I know I can cut this and rebend the lip with my hammer and dolly if that is correct, but I don't know how this should look since the whole corner was missing from both sides. Which is correct?

I have had to massage most of tha panels to a point. The part I don't know about is how the firewall is supposed to meet with the side cowl at the lip. Is the corner supposed to be fairly level on the upper lip? I can definately make that the case, I just need to know if that is correct.
