OO, I know what you mean, I have a '65 and I don't think a 10 lb bottle of Nitrous will fit with the spare and a relocated batrery in the trunk.

Perhaps you can move the front passenger seat all the way back, and put the club bag on the floor and lean it up against the seat back and belt it in? Put a hat on the top and maybe sneak into the carpool lanes? Maybe not the last one... *G*

Maybe a Thule rack and case on top?

Take up sporting clays,skeet or trap. shotguns breakdown to a nice compact size that is easy to fit in the trunk.
and it is easier to master than golf

I just put em in the back seat.
I would like to get clubs in the trunk.
But have never found a way.

Limits the nnumber of passengers.... But then again you'll never get more than two sets in there, even with no spare.

Remove the spare entirely. When was the last time you used it? You got a cell phone and AAA? That's all one needs now-adays.

I believe the clubs will fit in the trunk without a spare....

What about a space saver spare. Does anyone re-produce them in an affordable version one wouldn't mind actually using?

Why not remove the Passenger seat? you'll have plenty of room then! BTW, I like Midlife's suggestion the best.

My carry bag fits in my trunk just fine, and I have a spare back there as well.

Here's what I did.... Put the bag between the seats with the foot in the back seat and the club heads at you right elbow. Then, when you slam on the brakes, the clubs smash your redio face. This only happens once.
