65 Mustang... the ignition key goes in flat side down when Inserting to start.
My question is are the doorlocks installed so when you lock or unlock them with the key go in so the flatside of key is down as well?

That seems right as my `66 FB is that orientation. BUT, my `66 HT is opposite, flat up. I did a total restoration on my HT myself, so guess I have them installed on wrong side of the car. I just checked both Mustangs & realized they weren't the same. I rarely lock either car in my defense.

I collect Mustang magazines ads ( all years ) & noticed this discrepancy a long time ago --- reversible keys in `65 ad.
