Hi all,

I am getting ready to dye deluxe door panel replacements for my 71 coupe. The carpet trim on the lower half needs to be stapled on the back side of the panel to secure it (i removed the black carpet that came with the panel so i could add the needed blue). Has anyone done this task before, and if so, where did you find a stapler that used the smaller looking ones that are needed???

Thanks for any help.

When I replaced the carpet on my panels, I used a swingline electric staple gun, and regular staples. I stapled it together on a piece of metal. This way, the staples bent instead of sticking out the back of the panel. Then, with an artist paint brush, I painted the staples...In the carpet, you can't see them...
