Does anyone know what the thread pitch and size on the two screws on a 1965 door striker are? I have the striker plates, but not the screws, and would rather save time and a little money by buying screws that fit instead of a whole new striker set.

I don't have the thread size handy for those but be aware that they're NOT a typical Philips-head screw, they are a #4 Pozi-Driv.

The Door Striker screws were Ford hardware Part Number 378428-S8, and were 5/16-18 x 3/4", Flat Head, Self-locking (pozi-driver), Phillips Screws.

NPDF has them, 4 for less than $5, plus shipping.

A location in your profile might help. There might be a member close by that has the spare parts. There are a few forum members who deal in used Mustang parts as well.
