Bought our '66 on Memorial Day and knew it should be braking better than it was. Right rear had the pads not attached to the shoe so I took the opportunity to show my daughter about brakes. Seen with PaPa helping with disassembly and attacking a wheel cylinder.

Not pictured is the addition of a dual bowl master cylinder and the stack of wrong parts I got from CJ Pony parts. 馃槵

You did install the shorter shoes on the front?

That's awesome. My daughters wanted to help for a little while, but then they discovered youtube and tablets, and that was that.

Yes! I did the YouTube research and also installed a dual bowl master cylinder. CJ Pony Parts did send the wrong brake lines for the 6cyl but the local parts store helped me out and got it right.

You'll find she drives the car responsibly, too. Pretty much universal, when kids work on the car, they drive carefully.
