Has anyone ever retained the factory shock tower braces when you've installed an export brace? TIA

on 65-66 you can leave the stock braces on the shock towers if you ever want to go back to stock. but it sure looks ugly. 67 and up there is no reason to because you can go back to stock whenever. Gary

There's a single shot of the new engine on my website which shows the factory tower braces underneath the export brace. Didn't need taller bolts or anything.

I plan to take the factory braces off, for cleanliness sake.

I kept my original braces for about 10 years, and it wasn't until last week that I removed them during an engine bay restoration. I think it looks A LOT better without them!
