On a 67 coupe are the front seat belt mounting nuts welded to the floor pans?

I am going to replace my seat belts with shoulder belts and I need to know if I should have someone help me out from under the car to reinstall the new belts.

If the mounting nuts are welded to the floor then I can change the belts myself from inside the car.

The oursite bolts are incorporated into the rocker, and the insides are welded to the tranny hump, I beleive. And when it comes to seat belts, there is no dumb question- They are a matter of safety- on our 35 year old cars, sometimes the only safety issue left!

Dumb Seat Belt Question:

St. Peter: Why didn't you wear your seatbelt?

17 car crashes and 1 helicopter crash, I am a believer in seat belts!
