My ebrake cable had been cut in the past. The upper one that goes from the handle to the lever under the car. I found a whole arm complete with cable at the junk yard Saturday. I got the old one out and new bolted in place, but I cant get the grommet that bolt to the outside of the firewall through the hole so I'm guessing that I need to take the cable off and feed it throught the hold from the outside?? How does the cable come off? I guess drive the roll pin out and take the pulley off? I ran out of light last night before I got the job done.

Thanks-

Yep, drive the roll pin out, remove pulley, remove cable. Feed cable in form outside and re-assemble
