Picked this up some time ago from a farmer that had it stored inside for probably more than 35 years. I cleaned up the outside and there is no damage, cracks or signs of repair anywhere. Pulled the top cover off and the gears show no signs of abuse of any kind. There are specs of rust on some of the gears probably from condensation over this many years. The mainshaft ball bearings have either dust or specs of rust in them as they do not turn. A small parts kit with bearings should make this a really nice tranny. The tag reads HEH-G which is a 64.5 Mustang. FedX tells me this must be shipped to a commercial address as the crate will be delivered with a two wheel dolly. FedX estimated the shipping cost of about $78. I suspect this will be slightly higher if the delivery address in on the coast. I'm not building any more cars and need to get rid of this piece plus two pickup loads of more parts. The price of the tranny is $425.00. Let me know if you have any questions.
