For my standard blue air cleaner assembly ('67), what finish are the wing screws on the snorkle supposed to be?
I just spent about 2 hours getting one of the old ones out. One had been cross-threaded and it broke off. I drilled a hole through it and then I managed to break off the easy-out. Anyways, I've got 2 new screws to put it back together with when I get an answer.

Thanks,
Chris

I'm not sure where you're talking about, there is only one wing nut on the top of the air cleaner. It should be the natural metal finish. The two bolts attaching the snorkle to the air cleaner are silver cad--but they're not wing screws.

Oops, yes, they are on 67s, but they're bolts on 68s. *G*
