Edelbrock F28 lowrise aluminum intake with dual Carter 4bbl carbs, I think the carb #s are B1962SA probably 600cfm's ?

It has all the linkage with it as well, Looks pretty clean for a small block ford

Worth $250.00 ? I might pick it up for a future poroject

I would think it was well worth the $250. I think it would cost way more than that to buy a complete new one. Worst comes to worst and sell it on ehay and make a tidy profit.

I don't have a comprehensive catalog of Carter carburetors to identify what your numbers are, and the #s on the carbs don't sound familiar, but they should have different numbers on each. They came as 500, 625 and 750 cfm models (paired up in varying pairs for the total CFM rating ranging from 1000 to 1500). If the front carb is a 4761 or 4758, it's a 500; if 4759, it's a 625; if 4760 or 4762, it's a 750. For those carbs only the rear carb is choked as it's the primary idling carburetor. The AFBs are one of the most adjustible American-made carbs.

Thanks Tom for the files you sent me!

It looks like these are the 750 cfm's. I read 1962 on the base but the first two numbers were hard to read. The files you sent shown 4762 for the 750's and no other numbers matching the "62".

Hmmm! I guess I'm going to have save it for a future project that will have a need for 1500cfm's :p

Worth $250, I sure think so!
I sold my old dual quad setup about a year ago for $450 which consisted of an Edlelbrock dual quad intake, two Carter 500 CFM carbs, progressive linkage and fuel line.

Man I sure miss the looks. I bet my 347 stroker would like em even more than my old 289 as well.
