Ok...I have a 1983 Grand Marquis with the 302 and I cant find the dang fuel filter so I can change it. Anybody have any ideas? The Napa man said he never seen this type of filter, it looks like a small oil filter. Also, whats the gap setting for the spark plugs??? Thanks...

Just a shot based on my '86 5.0. Check just in front of the gas tank for the fuel filter. (But I didn't know any '83s had EFI??) If it's not there, just follow the fuel line all the way from the tank. My Explorer's fuel filter is on the frame rail just under the driver's door.)

My '86 EFI spark plug gap has a stock setting of .044".

As in .048 right? I have the filter, just cant find where it goes! It looks like it should screw on to a block adaptor. Thanks...
