Well, I started my EFI conversion today.
Using the "Ford Mulitport Electronic Fuel Injection Wiring manual," I was able to identify and label almost all of the wires in my harness.
After I did that, I rewired the injector harness so that I can use it on my 289 (5.0 has the 13726548 firing order while my 289 has the 15426378 firing order).
I also drained the radiator, and pulled the carb and intake off.
Lastly, I pulled the distributor. I know that normally these come right out, but mine took a little convincing. I ended up giving the fan blade a turn, and was then able to wiggle it out.
