Looking to purchase an Edelbrock Performer intake for my stock 1965 289-2v.
They list an EGR & non-EGR version... what is the difference? Which do I need to purchase for my setup?

Thanks all.

You want to install the non-egr one for your car. I run a Weiand Stealth dual plane
on my 66. Some say it's better than the edelbrock.

Agree with other poster; non EGR. I put the 2121 on one of my 66 289's.

The EGR manifold has passages for exhaust gases to recirculate through the engine. There is a "trap door" in the manifold that opens when recirculation is to take place. The trap door is usually a vaccuum diaphragm operated device. It requires a control system to operate. Unless you are copying a specific model car and want to keep it fully functioning as an original factory car then you want a non-EGR manifold. You want EGR only if you've got one now.
