How much should I expect to pay for an electric radiator cooling fan and wiring? What is the minimun flow rate I should be looking for. I have a mildly built 302 and 4 speed toploader, 2 core radiator, and no shroud yet.

What flow rate does my stock fan (4 blade) put out? Is moving to the five blade going to make a big difference?

Thanks.

Hi Thespazman,

my 351C also had a slight overheating problem at idle and would start to creep up a bit....parts monkey sold me a Flex-a-lite 5 blade (1000 SERIES) fan which looked good but didn't solve my problem, went to their website and found out the fan is for 4 and 6 cylinder engines...bought a 7 blade Hayden flex fan...huge difference, no creeping up when idling and don't need an electric fan now...
