I have a 66 200 coupe that has an american auto wire kit installed in it. I have an electrical noise issue causing my stereo amp to amplify the noise.

The noise only happens when the headlights are on. When they're off, it seems to go away. I also have an LED sequential brake light kit installed. If i press the brakes with the light son, the noise stops. My turn signals cause the noise to pulse with the lights.

Will a small cap across my speaker terminals fix this, or should I be looking for a condenser to put on the alternator?

Any help is greatly appreciated

Be sure the electrical connections (and Ground) are good for the headlights.
