Agree. If you don't want to run a separate line, try tapping into the cigarette lighter. Just don't run the lighter and/or the emergency flasher along with the CD player. Since the car is not concours, I'd strongly recommend separate power line from the battery (fused) and a good ground cable back to the battery as well. If you do run these two lines, twist the heck of 'em ttogether o reduce induced RF interference.
