I just found out that i've got a pretty major drain on my battery of my 66 fastback. I've isolated it to the fuse marked dome. Having just moved all of my books and wiring diagrams are in a box somewhere. The joys of moving. It's a good thing the fastback isn't any smaller or it might have gotten lost in the stacks and stacks of boxes out in the garage. LOL

What else besides the dome lights are on that circuit? Any help would be appreciated, because until I find the problem I've just yanked the fuse.

Is your dome light hooked up? Pull out the bulb, replace the fuse and see if you've still got a drain on the battery. Stuff on that circuit includes: glove box lite, trunk lite, console lites.

I just went out to the garage and looked. I don't have a dome light. Just the two under the dash, the door lights, and the two back in the rear sides......hmmmmmmm

Rob, in looking at the wiring diagrams, the only thing that appears to be on that circuit is just the dome lights. This consists of the 2 under dash, the glove box light (don't think that applies to you anymore since that's where you're CD changer is as I recall), and the console glove box light (also doesn't apply with your console), the optional door courtesy lights, and the optional rear seat lights.

How's Redding? Drop me a line with your new address/phone #. Missed seeing you at the meeting tonight. We've got a ton of events lined up now if you can make it down for any of them.
