My old point style VR has kicked the bucket and I'm going to replace it with an electronic VR. I tried getting one today but the guy behind the parts counter didn't have the brains or the patience to go the catalog with me to get the correct VR. As soon as I said '68 Mustang he dragged out an old point style one. Anyway, to make a long story short I left the store empty-handed. So my question is: if you have changed over to an electronic VR what vehicle did it come from?

I went to the local Advance Auto and told them I needed one for a 67. I actually did not specify electronic, but that's what I got. Find another supplier. They are pretty common now.

I have a Motorcraft Electronic VR in my 65 and it looks like it connects directly to old 4-plug harness. The part number is E2...., I will look it up and post here later.
